On his deathbed, F. X. Balko confided to his maid that his most famous painting – Saint Xaverius – hides a secret, the location of a hidden treasure. After many futile attempts to unravel the mystery of the painting, it seemed that everything was just a figment of the master’s senile mind. Bequeathed to his maid, the painting stayed with her until her death whereupon it was gifted to the church.
